Connor's New Normal Part 1
This story is a direct sequel to the series Little Brother Wedgie and picks up the night of Part 10 of that series, but is told from Connor's POV. It runs parallel to Aiden's New Normal stories which are told from Aiden's perspective (Got that all? Good.) I would recommend reading those if you're interested or haven't already for context purposes at the least. ----------------------------------------------------------- Connor giggled to himself as he closed his bedroom door before looking at his phone, frowned and then he let out a long sigh. Today had somehow been one of the best and worst day of the young boy's life. He looked at the text message exchanges he had with Jay. His best friend. His former best friend? His enemy? Whole day was all so confusing. Connor had asked him to come over and it ended up being the worst thing to happen ever! The text exchanges had stopped this afternoon, when things were so much better and more fun. Before the dark time. Before he got
Jake's high school had quite the problem with bullying. He suspected that since the first day, as many of the other freshmen missed their classes and showed up some time later, disheveled and often bruised. He confirmed it the day after, talking to some of the kids that had been beaten up. He learned the names of the bullies, most of them seniors, learned what they did. Despite dressing almost exclusively in black, he was quite nice. His problematic nature was, mainly, that he realized at an early age that most of the problems can’t be solved with words alone, and defaulted to

An amorphous crowd funneled inside the house, but he didn’t recognize most of them. Many trampled over what must have been a lovely front yard, talking and laughing with so much of that enthusiasm that Mason had never really shared. Loud music blared from inside, which drowned out most of the conversation. The house was massive, but one would expect nothing less from the prom king, captain of the football team, and most popular guy in school, Cayden Reed. High school had officially ended. This party could very well be the last time he sees Cayden, with his handsome face and broad shoulders and thick arms. He breathed in, exhaled, armed himself with determination, and walked inside. Mason walked around trying to find his crush. He eventually spotted him next to the (also enormous) pool in the backyard. Cayden was making out with his girlfriend, also head

The sun ruled atop the sky - as he walked past a window-wall he dared to throw a short glance outside. Wind’s thin claws were everywhere, pushing the dark-green bushes around, making trees tremble ever so slightly. A shit tone of cars waited outside, most of them limousines. He couldn’t help but grimace. These corridors had been
